While I love working with traditional media and hands-on materials, I adore the versatility of digital media. I start each drawing with a pencil sketch, which I scan into Adobe Photoshop 7. I redraw the lineart, tweak it, and color it using an Aiptek tablet. The large-scale versions are available if you click the image! With A Star as Her Umbrella Digital Media, 609pixels x 1000pixels Completed July 3rd, 2007 I wanted to use a different color palette and simpler features, like an illustration from a children's book. I wanted to try a darker color palette and experiment with shadows.
